P-weight 4kg for plate
P-weight coated ballast 4kg - to plate
This ballast is mounted on the top of the plate by putting it on the bolts of the clamps. It is as close to the back as possible and therefore generates the smallest torsional forces from ballast. A plate is mounted in the ballast, which strengthens the assembly of the ballast to the plate. We recommend tightening the ballast with butterfly screws that fit into the ballast socket. Easily and without tools, and in a strong enough way. The included washer must be inserted into the mounting socket. Most often, due to the thin mounting plate, it is not necessary to change the twinset screws for longer ones.
A set consists of:
- 4 kg ballast
- INOX hexagonal nuts - 3 pcs
- INOX butterfly nuts - 3 pcs
- 25 mm INOX spacers - 3 pcs
The spacing of the mounting holes is standard and amounts to 280 mm. This ballast will appeal to those divers who have the correct trim when setting the ballast between the clamps, otherwise this type of ballast is closest to the diver's body axis, so the smallest torsional forces generated by the ballast arise.
NOTE
This ballast fits Halycon, DiveSystem, OMS or other manufacturers boards, including self-made boards. The plate bending profile should be similar to the plates of the mentioned brands. The minimum width of the board indentation at the mounting bolt holes = 30 mm. In narrower plates than 30 mm, the ballast will not fit and will rest on the edges, which will make it higher - closer to the back and may rest on the back. Remember, however, that when we need to configure our ballast differently, we can use a different type of ballast.
