AMMONITE SYSTEM Led Speleo - desinged to cave diving

LED SPELEO is a light specially designed to facilitate underwater communication and cave exploration for as long as possible. It has a concentrated beam that narrows to 6 degrees that can make its way through the water with a smooth glide, which easily penetrates the darkness in explored spaces. The LED SPELEO is one of the most remarkable lights for cave diving. 

The LED SPELEO has an output of up to 1300 lm in 100% mode. However, as in most high quality diving torches, the power can be additionally adjusted in the range of 60% and 20% (BACK-UP mode) LED SPELEO manages battery energy very economically. The torch will operate for over 10 hours at maximum power and for over 50 hours in BACK-UP mode with the AMMONITE ACCU TYPE 10 battery.

The construction of the head uses a high quality aluminium alloy and all external parts of the housing are hard anodised to guarantee high corrosion and scratch resistance. The light control ring is made from a lightweight and extremely resistant to external influences polymer (Delrin®). The glass of the head is made of tempered glass 6mm thick. LED SPELEO is tested and approved for use at depths up to 200 metres.

The electronic system monitors the state of the battery and when it is discharged, the torch signals this with a short flash and then goes into BACK-UP mode (20% light output). The LED SPELEO remains in BACK-UP mode until the battery is recharged.

The LED SPELEO head is only 116mm long and 53mm in diameter at its widest part. Despite being extremely durable, it weighs only 265g (in water 100g). The size and weight makes it easy to handle, whether the torch will be held in the hand or mounted on a Goodman handle.

For the LED SPELEO we recommend one of the Goodman handles. Choose the type of holder according to your preferences and needs.
