1st stage:

• When the first stage is not connected to the cylinder valve, an automatic closing device (ACD) keeps the inlet closed to protect the interior of the first stage from contamination and water.
• Keeps internal lubrication clean.
• Keeps the pre-filter clean.
• Safer for Nitrox mixtures.
• Exceptional cold water performance has been achieved by upgrading Aqua Lung's three anti-freeze properties.
• Where there is no moisture, no ice: the integrated LEG3ND dry chamber keeps the internal components clean and dry, isolating them from the outside environment.
• The deep ribs create a large heat transfer surface which helps prevent ice formation on the internal parts of the vending machine (+ 30% vs Glacia / + 70% vs Legend 2).
• The new blind cap delays the formation of ice on the outer diaphragm.
• Automatically regulates the pressure.
• It gradually increases the pressure to maintain optimal breathing effort.
• Depending on the depth of the diver, the working pressure of the first stage is automatically increased to counteract the increased density of the breathing air.
• Ergonomically shaped DIN and YOKE screws made of a two-component "Soft Grip" surface provide a better grip when installing or removing the first stage - especially with cold hands.
• Specialized ACD dust cover attached to the regulator body to protect the inlet fitting and ACD system from impact or damage.
• Perfectly positioned HP and LP ports ensure optimal hose routing.

2nd Stage LEG3ND MBS:

• The new design of the second stage can cover allows water to flow sideways over the diaphragm.
• Radial openings to prevent free flow when diving in stronger currents.
• The orifices were widened to reduce peak inspiratory flow by 20%.
• New elastomer exhaust cover with a "soft-touch" effect.
• The large surface makes the regulator easy to clean.
• The purge depth controller optimizes airflow with minimal effort.
• Patented Comfobite mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue.
