A wide range of buoys and reels from Divezone.pl
As a shop with high quality diving equipment we offer everything necessary for both beginners and advanced divers. Therefore, you will also find a wide selection of buoys (SMB - Surface marker buoy) and reels, which are perfect for deep diving as well as for wreck and cave diving. Their task is to increase safety during ascent under the water and during ascent. We invite you to familiarise yourself with our attractive offer of buoys and reels from renowned manufacturers!
High quality diving buoys - comfort and safety during diving
Diving buoys are usually made of bright material which is easily visible on the surface. Their task is to signal the place where the divers are underwater. This can be useful when diving in a current or moving away from the wreck and not being able to return after the abandonment. They also help to maintain a constant depth and provide assistance during ascent during decompression. There are two types of high quality diving buoys.
The basic division divides the buoys into open and closed ones. Closed buoys are definitely a better choice as there is no risk of losing air from the buoy and thus "falling" on the water surface.
The colour of the buoy is usually bright orange which is a standard, however it can also be found in bright yellow. It is important that the buoy is visible from far away and the team knows what colour you are using. Additionally the buoy should be equipped with reflective stripes which will increase its visibility in poor visibility and at night.
Additionally, SMB dive buoys are divided by capacity and length. Short buoys may be used for diving in areas where there are no waves and high buoyancy is unnecessary. Long buoys, on the other hand, are recommended for sea diving, where there is a danger that a short buoy will be unnoticed, covered by sea waves.
Proven diving reels
The second type of equipment that you will find in this category are diving reels and spools. They are perfect for cave diving, wreck diving or ice diving, when you want to mark your way back or make an emergency ascent. Proven diving reels and spools guarantee safety, and if used properly will not allow us to get lost underwater. There are different types of diving reels and spools. They differ in length, thickness and quality of the line. The material of the equipment also varies. It may be nylon, stainless steel or aluminium. Of course, a higher quality of manufacture is usually followed by a higher price, but if we are keen cave or wreck divers, it is definitely worth investing in a solid and proven diving reel.
When using a buoy, spools are the most common choice. Similarly, for wreck diving, more and more divers prefer to choose a few spools instead of a large reel. Large reels will work well mainly in caves.
At Divezone you will find a wide range of buoys, reels and diving spools with different functionalities and price ranges. If you do not know what to choose, please contact us. We will be happy to help you choose equipment to suit your individual needs.
